Hello! I am Kanagaraj (KJ), the founder and choreographer of Flip Dance Company, Coimbatore. Over the past 10 years, I have been passionately running this dance school, nurturing talent, and helping individuals grow professionally. Our journey has led to over 90 children and 20 adults becoming skilled dancers, with a dedicated crew of 10 professional performers.
I have had the privilege of contributing to several films in various roles. I worked as a dancer in Masi Thiruvizha (2013) and Navarasam (2014) and choreographed a folk song in Kaasu Panam Thuttu (2016), directed by Kasthuri Raja, where I also played a supporting role. My acting journey continued with Veruli (2017) as a supporting actor and Sarkar (2018) in a montage scene. I performed in Anbu Arivu (2022), DSP (Vijay Sethupathi’s jail scene), and Sengalam (web series), along with roles as a junior artist in Coffee with Kadhal and a fight scene in Rudhran (2023). Recently, I danced in Naa Ready Tha from Leo (2023) and appeared as a supporting artist in Veeran.
Our Dance School’s Achievements in Film
Our students have also showcased their talent in films. They performed in Brothers Day (2019) for the song Nenj Udu Vena (sung by Dhanush) and danced in Sultan (2021) for Yaaraium Ivala Ahlaga Pakkala. Our trainer, Yuvaraj, performed in two songs for Friendship (Harbhajan Singh’s movie). They also appeared as junior artists in Coffee with Kadhal, acted in a fight scene for Rudhran, and performed in the kids’ segment of Veeran.

We have choreographed songs for movies like Maasi Thiruvizha and Navarasam and performed in Kaasu Panam Thuddu by Kasturi Raja. Our talent has been featured in TV shows like Super Dancers (Raj TV) and Miracle Dancers (Vendhar TV). With experience at Nimble Foot and 5th Element Dance Companies, we also excel in fashion parades and creative themes for kindergarten events.
